It's about time to have another meetup! And I need an assistant to help coordinate meetings, try new places and help find tech-related venues we can go to for tours with our group.

We're holding a weeknight meetup for those who it's been difficult to get to the Saturday meetups we've held in Greece at SOHO Bagel Cafe. Spot Coffee has wireless, coffee and other beverages and good food, and the environment is really awesome!

BRING A FRIEND! Let others know about our meetup group! You don't have to be a tech professional by any means. In fact, many of us just come for a sort-of show-and-tell of our gadgets, and it's amazing how much us techies have in common!

NEWBIES WANTED! I am hoping to grow our attendance to over 20 who attend each of our get-togethers. Please help spread the word at work, around town, etc. I'll be happy to make up a flyer if you can post it up in your work breakroom or at your local cafe.

Come and join us for good times in a very informal social setting at a Greece coffee/bagel cafe in Stoneridge Plaza. Our meetups are scheduled for an hour, but many of us stay for 3 hours!! Yes, we enjoy chattin about tech that much! Show your geekdom and be with others who share the same passions!!!!!

It's been over a month and I know a lot of use are ready to get together again! This gathering is on a Monday and after work hours, so I hope many more of you can attend. Panera has FREE Wi-Fi access, and they offer an abundance of good food and beverages, and a neat environment too.

Please RSVP if you can make it so I can get a head count ahead of time so I can be sure to reserve space for us. Let's see if we can get 20 or more to come! Tell your friends!

If you're new to RocGeeks, we're just a bunch of guys and gals who have a passion for all things high-tech. Some are geekier than others, but those are the ones a lot of us are drawn to - they have some great knowledge and have the coolest toys!

Bring your laptop or other wireless device! Our group usually has their laptops fired up and we get engaged in some pretty cool conversations at our informal gatherings!

I've had a poll posted on our RocGeeks MeetUp site for a while now to determine what film we'll watch at this event... Right now, it's a three-way tie, but we've had pretty crummy turn out for the voting - so go make your voice known! VOTE NOW!

We'll gather around 5:00 PM at my house. I'll have a sheet pizza delivered around 5:30 and we'll start the movie then. You might want to bring your own beverages because I won't have much to offer other than filtered water.

The online mapping sites do a pretty decent job of directions to the general location of my house, though you may want to refer to this image for a close up view of which house on the cul-de-sac is mine. My driveway is large enough to accommodate several vehicles, but my neighbors and I don't shy away from parking around the cul-de-sac, so we should be fine for parking.

Unfortunately, I can't fit any more than 7 people very comfortably in the home-theater in my basement, so this event will be on a first-come, first served basis!

*WARNING* - I have two cats and playing video games takes priority for me over vacuuming around my house. If you've got an allergy to pet dander - you might want to sit this one out...
